Tornado Watch Issued for Parts of North and North Central Alabama Until 6 a.m.

A new tornado watch has been posted for all of North Alabama and parts of North Central Alabama until 6 a.m. CDT.

We continue to track an increasing line of thunderstorms over northern Louisiana, southeastern Arkansas, northwestern Mississippi, and western Tennessee that is accompanied by damaging winds and a few tornadoes.

A possible tornado was reported around 10:45 p.m. near Barr, Mississippi, which is in Tate County, southeast of Memphis.

Another possible tornado is near Cleveland, Mississippi.

In southern Tennessee, a possible tornado is passing northwest of Selmer.
