Torrential Rains Over Northeast Mississippi Causing Flooding, Could Cause Flooding Issues Over Northwest Alabama

Rainfall rates over two inches per hour are being observed with the very strong storms over northeastern Mississippi.

There is a report of flooding in Pontotoc County near Sherman, just west of Tupelo, with 8 inches of water over one road.

This heavy rain will work into Northwest Alabama with 60-0- minutes, potentially causing flooding there, so be ready in case it does.
