Several Counties Have Been Removed from the Severe Thunderstorm Watch

NWS Birmingham has removed Blount, Jefferson, and Tuscaloosa counties from the Severe Thunderstorm Watch. NWS Huntsville has also removed Dekalb, Jackson, Madison and Marshall counties.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues until 9 pm for DeKalb and Jackson counties in North Alabama, and for Bibb, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Etowah, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Barbour, Bullock, Lee, Macon, Montgomery, Pike, and Russell counties in Central Alabama.
