Wind Advisories Issued for Parts of Alabama

Wind advisories have been issued for A good bit of Alabama.

From the NWS Birmingham starting at 7 p.m. tonight…

…WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM CDT
SATURDAY…

* WHAT…South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
expected.

* WHERE…Northwestern and central portions of central Alabama.

* WHEN…From 7 PM this evening to 7 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

And from the NWS in Huntsville…also beginning at 7 p.m. tonight.

* WHERE…Portions of north central, northeast and northwest
Alabama and southern middle Tennessee.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
result.
