Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Parts of Talladega County Until 1:45 p.m.; Another Strong Storm Near Wedowee

New warning for the same storm that developed near Ragland and is moving south southeast through Talladega County. There is a strong storm near Wedowee in Randolph County as well.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central Talladega County in east central Alabama…

* Until 145 PM CDT.

* At 1257 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Talladega,
moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Talladega, Waldo, Alpine, Winterboro, Logan Martin Lake and Howells
Cove.
