The storms are proceeding southward.

The severe thunderstorm watch is shown in pink.

The severe thunderstorm warnings are in yellow.

Radar shows the storms dropping southward.

We want all our friends in South Central Alabama to monitor the storms as they approach and warnings that may be issued for their locations.

And remember, more storms are likely overnight during the early morning hours into the morning hours on Friday.
