Clouds Hold On

| February 7, 2010 @ 10:42 am | 7 Replies

Just got a chance to look at the morning sounding from the Shelby County Airport. Looks like the clouds are a bit thicker than I thought, so they may hold on a lot stronger than my earlier thinking. This will mean little in the way of sun today for much of Central Alabama. It will also mean that temperatures will not rise as high as I expected. Look for highs this afternoon to top out only in the lower 40s at best.

Should you manage to find a thin spot in the clouds, you could see a little sun and perhaps get a couple of degrees warmer. At this writing, however, the cloud cover seems fairly uniform, so the clouds will likely not break much.
