NHC: Official Landfall around 6am CDT near Steinhatchee, FL

The National Hurricane Center 6am CDT update has made it official.  Debby has made landfall near Steinhatchee, FL in the Big Bend as a Category 1 hurricane. Minimum pressure at landfall was 979 mph and maximum winds 80 mph.

A few wind gust reports from Mesonet/ASOS sites just after 5am CDT:

Dixie County (FL) High School weatherstem reported a gust of 57 mph

Mayo (Lafayette County, FL) had a gust of 59 mph.

Madison County (FL) High School weatherstem gust to 48 mph.

The Perry, FL ASOS reported a gust of 62.1 mph at 535am CDT.
