Tornado Watch Now In Effect For Parts Of Southwest Alabama Until 10pm CST

| February 12, 2025 @ 1:37 pm

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a tornado watch until 10pm for southwest Alabama. This watch is in effect for counties along and south of a line from Sumter, Marengo, and Dallas counties southward to Mobile and Baldwin counties. The SPC indicates that a few tornadoes are likely and isolated strong tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

We anticipate that this watch will be expanded later today once the atmosphere destabilizes south of the slowly northward advancing warm front.
