Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Northwest Alabama
As expected, the NWS/SPC has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for northwest Alabama until 5pm this evening. The main threat will be from wind and hail. SPC does mention the low threat of a tornado, but we are not very concerned about tornadoes today.
Additional severe thunderstorm watch issuance is likely for much of central MS and central AL later today.
