Flash Flood Warning for Parts of Greene, Sumter Co. Until 12:15AM

Flash Flood Warning Issued for Southern Greene and Sumter Counties Until 12:15 AM CDT

Thunderstorms have dumped between 2 and 5 inches of rain across portions of southern Greene and Sumter counties this evening, and flash flooding is either ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Areas at highest risk include Demopolis, Livingston, Eutaw, and the University of West Alabama.

Creeks, streams, and poorly drained areas are especially vulnerable. Never drive across flooded roadways—turn around, don’t drown.
