Severe Threat Over, Few Cells Over Tuscaloosa County

The severe thunderstorm watch has expired.

There are a few cells over Tuscaloosa and northwestern Bibb counties. Lighter showers are over Walker, northern Jefferson and southern Blount Counties.

There is a heavier shower over western Franklin, edging into northwestern Marion. Everything should dissipate over the next couple of hours.

There is will be some patchy dense fog overnight, but conditions should be quiet. Lows will be in the upper 50s North and lower 60s Central.

Tomorrow should be mainly dry over the northern half of the state, with rain chances limited to the southern half of the area.
