Flash Flood Warning Issued for Selma and Central Dallas County

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for central Dallas County, including the Selma area, until 9:15 PM CDT.

Radar indicates thunderstorms have produced heavy rain, with flash flooding either ongoing or imminent.

Areas at risk include Selma University, Craig Field Airport, Memorial Stadium, the Edmund Pettus Bridge, and surrounding roads and neighborhoods.

Avoid flooded roadways and be alert to rising water, especially after dark.

The severe thunderstorm warning has been canceled for Dallas and Autauga counties.
