At 9:12 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Grant, about 11 miles north of Guntersville, moving east at 35 miles per hour. Radar is showing signs of rotation with this storm.

This storm may produce a tornado at any moment. If one occurs, flying debris will be dangerous to anyone caught outside. Mobile homes could be damaged or destroyed, and damage to roofs, windows, vehicles, and trees is likely.

The storm will affect mainly rural areas in the warned region, including places like Langston and Columbus City.
