Tornado Warning Issued For Central Madison County Until 7:45 PM

A Tornado Warning has been issued for central Madison County until 7:45 PM CDT. At 7:16 PM, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Huntsville, moving east at 20 mph. Radar indicated rotation with this storm. It is expected to impact the city of Huntsville around 7:20 PM and Gurley by 7:30 PM. Other areas in the path include Maysville, Ryland, Hampton Cove, and Brownsboro.

This is a dangerous situation. Flying debris will be a hazard to anyone caught outside or in mobile homes or vehicles. Structural damage to homes, windows, and vehicles is likely. TAKE COVER NOW. Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and avoid windows. If you are outside or in a vehicle or manufactured home, seek shelter immediately.

Heavy rain may hide the tornado — do not wait to see it. Take cover immediately.
