Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Madison, Limestone, and Lincoln Counties Until 4:00 PM

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect until 4:00 PM CDT for northwestern Madison County, northeastern Limestone County in Alabama, and southwestern Lincoln County in Tennessee.

At 3:03 PM, a severe storm located just southwest of Ardmore was moving east at 30 mph, with a history of producing wind damage and power outages.

Radar indicates wind gusts up to 60 mph and penny size hail. Nearly 60 flashes of lightning in the last 5 minutes from these storms.

Communities in the path include Athens, Hazel Green, Fayetteville, Meridianville, and northern Huntsville. Take shelter immediately.
