Under hazy blue skies, temperatures have soared once again across Alabama.

At 2 p.m., here are readings across Central Alabama…

Birmingham 99F (record 101F)
Tuscaloosa 101F (record 104F)
Anniston 98F (ties record of 98F)
Montgomery 103F (new record…old record 102F)

Radar is quiet. Some showers and storms are over Southeast Alabama and adjacent parts of Southwest Georgia.

Some slightly more moist air is edging into East Alabama from about Fort Payne to east of Talladega. This has resulted in some cumulus clouds over those areas. Elswhere, skies are clear.

Here are record highs for the next three days…
MONDAY
Birmingham 102
Tuscaloosa 103
Anniston 100
Montgomery 103

TUESDAY
Birmingham 101
Tuscaloosa 103
Anniston 99
Montgomery 103

WEDNESDAY
Birmingham 101
Tuscaloosa 103
Anniston 100
Montgomery 102

Several of those will be in jeopardy.
