Cherokee County Sunrise

Beautiful sunrise shot from Skywatcher Vic Bell via Twitter this morning. He is in a small spot in western Cherokee County known to the locals as “Lizard Lope;” it’s south of Collinsville.

There are a few isolated pockets of light rain moving out of Georgia into Cherokee, DeKalb and Jackson Counties this morning. Clouds are thick in Northeast Alabama, but with some afternoon sun we should still make upper 70s and lower 80s in this part of the state!
