Storms bearing down on BHM

Wow, the sky has gotten dark in a hurry here in Trussville.  Severe storms, with heavy rain, hail, lightning, and strong winds (maybe over 60 mph) are moving through BHM now (see more details in Bill’s post below).  Notice the area of weak rotation approaching Gardendale…NWS will be watching that for any strengthening.

A good idea to stay inside in BHM area next 1-2 hours, avoid driving, etc.
