The Rain Came Down . . .

| March 1, 2011 @ 10:01 am | 14 Replies

Well, that is not a very good title. The rain always comes down or it would not be rain. That is why you never see me using the term, “rainfall” Sorry, just one (of many) of my pet peeves.

These rain amounts for the last 24 hours are not earth-shaking news but since Alabama has been getting drier and drier and forest fires had become a real problem, maybe this information will be useful:

0.40 Bessemer
1.35 Clay/Pinson (Womack Road)
0.79 West Trussville…near downtown
0.25 Decatur Airport
0.54 Huntsville
0.39 Muscle Shoals
0.23 Bankhead National Forest
0.26 Courtland
0.98 Courtland
0.98 Crossville
0.46 Cullman Ag Station
0.42 Guntersville
0.09 Russellville Airport
0.33 Scottsboro Airport
0.42 good ole Valley Head
0.42 Fort Payne Airport
0.10 Cullman Airport (they got short-changed)
0.51 Anniston Airport
0.73 Auburn
0.53 Birmingham Airport
0.22 Calera (Shelby County Airport)
0.33 Dothan
0.09 Evergreen
0.60 Troy
0.26 Tuscaloosa Airport
1.31 Pinson
0.36 Selma
0.81 Lizard Lope (I just gotta visit Vic Bell’s hangout!)

A nice cool morning…just a few low temperatures:

33 Russellville Airport
36 Cullman and Albertville
37 Valley Head and Scottsboro
32 Millport
46 Anniston
40 Huntsville
42 Birmingham
42 Coker
44 Calera
51 Evergreen

UNNECESSARY REMARKS
1. I love a cold, rainy day, a steady all-day rain but I bet you do not?
2. How do you like the weather we are giving you today, completely free of charge?
3. Do you wish James Spann would wear a hair piece?
* Coffee getting cold, outta here
