Watch At 5:00
**No afternoon Weather Xtreme video today due to ongoing duties involving tornado relief**
WEEKEND LOOK: Weather for the weekend will be warm and dry. Highs in the mid 80s; mostly sunny tomorrow, followed by a partly sunny sky on Sunday.
NEXT WEEK: The 12Z GFS is slower with the approaching front thanks to a stronger ridge over the Gulf Coast. We will still mention some risk of a shower, but the model is now showing really the best chance of showers and storms on Tuesday and possibly into Wednesday. Still doesn’t look like a severe weather issue for now, and drier air follows on Thursday and Friday.
NEIGHBORS IN NEED: Please join us on ABC 33/40 from 5:00 until 8:00 and find out ways you can help the vast number of people that are suffering across Alabama. We are teaming up with the American Red Cross to make this happen; we will also stream it, and you can watch it here:
