We received this from ABC 33/40 Skywatcher Kristie Calvin, who moved to North Pole, Alaska a few years ago. Fall can’t be too far away.

Fwd: First Frost Advisory

“Hi James:

Well, it looks like we are having an early fall. In fact, there are already yellow leaves on a few trees! When we were out hiking this week, I snapped a picture of one of the yellow leaves that had fallen to the ground. Oh, this seems so early!

Also, as I just refreshed the NWS page for Fairbanks, I found that we had been placed under a Frost Advisory for tonight. Lows are expected to bottom out at about 30 degrees. You can see the advisory below. I can’t wait to see what this winter brings to North Pole, AK.

While I know you are baking in Birmingham, we are currently sitting at 50 degrees at 3:30 p.m. I will send some cool thoughts your way!”
