Mid-afternoon Quick Glance at Alabama
Still no action as far as showers and thunderstorms are concerned across the Alabama countryside. Just hot air.
That group of thunderstorms has taken all day to move from Memphis this morning all the way to South Mississippi at mid-afternoon. NWS, Jackson has posted a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for several South Mississippi counties. Some 3 pm Alabama temperatures:
91 Tuscaloosa
92 Birmingham
97 Montgomery, heat index 101
93 Anniston
