Very Heavy Rain

| February 4, 2012 @ 6:00 pm

Our line of intense showers with some occasional embedded lightning is now east of Birmingham. Cent

It is east of several places, including Trafford, Center Point, Irondale, Columbiana, Vincent and Thorsby.  It curves back to east of Marion and Thomaston.

It is accompanied by torrential downpours along the leading edge of the line, some gusty winds, and an accasional loud clap of thunder.

The rain will last about 2 hours, with a few lingering showers for another hour or less.

So, not much thunder, no chance of severe weather.  Just watch out for the heavy rain and some gusty winds.  And be careful if you have to be out driving in this mess.
