Storm Alert 2012 Comes To Northwest Alabama

| February 7, 2012 @ 6:44 am

Our annual severe weather awareness tour comes to Phil Campbell this Thursday evening. We will be at Shoals-Northwest Community College, and the show begins at 6:30.

We actually were going to do this in Hackleburg, but there simply wasn’t a place big enough for the crowd we expect. If you live in Marion, Winston, Lamar, or Franklin County, or any part of Northwest Alabama, this is your show.

We will look back at the generational outbreak of April 27, with some very powerful stories of survival and men and women who were heroes. Of course, we will also look at the EF-5 that plowed through Hackleburg and Phil Campbell. We hope to see you there.

And, we should mention tonight we will be at the Publix in Trussville on U.S. 11 programming NOAA Weather Radio receivers… I will be there from 3:30 until 7:00… so drop by and say hello if you are in the neighborhood. Rumor has it the great American weather legend J.B. Elliott might even drop by. Then, tomorrow will be at the Publix on Green Springs Highway in Homewood…
