Weather Radio Note
Received this from Scott Unger of the Birmingham NWS early this morning…
“If you get someone calling, saying that their Midland WR120 radios are showing a “bad reception” message and beeping every 10 minutes, they need to check to be sure the radio is receiving a clear signal.
Then, to clear the message and beep you will need to reset the radio. To reset the radio unplug the power cord and remove the batteries, wait 15 seconds and reinsert the power cord and batteries.
Once the radio has been reset the time will need to be reset but the channel and S.A.M.E. code will not be lost.”
Have had a number of reports like this… hopefully this info will help.
