NOTES

* Tonight’s Alabama lows will probably be as low (maybe even lower than the lows this morning

* It seems like I have been in weather since Noah was building the ark, but so help me, I have never heard of Northome, Minn., even though I am a geography junkie. But I found it on a map in North Central Minnesota about 100 miles south of the Canadian border. It is a very small town not much larger than Havana Junction!

* More later today
