Alabama 811 | Know What's Below.

For Tonight

| October 7, 2012 @ 6:25 pm

Many of us saw the sun today through some breaks in the clouds. Clouds should increase overnight as a disturbance makes its way out of the Southern Plains. A look at the radar shows scattered showers back off to our west in Arkansas, Texas and Oklahoma. This activity will continue to move our direction and could leave the roads wet for tomorrow morning’s morning commute. The dewpoints are rather low and any rain that falls should be fairly light. The rain should get out of our area by late tomorrow afternoon and many of us should have some afternoon sun.

Below the forecast surface temperatures tonight will be cool, but with the added cloud cover they should not get below the upper 40s. Parts of northern Alabama will get down into the lower 40s and southern Alabama will be around 50.
