More Strong Storms over West Central Alabama

Very strong storms are over West Central Alabama at this hour.

The strongest ones cover much of Fayette County. One hour rainfall rates are approachign three inches east of Fayette. They are moving northeast toward Walker County.

Others are over southern Walker County near Gorgas, moving northeast toward Dora and Sumiton.

More storms are between Hamilton and Guin in Marion County.

To the east, storms that affected the Birmingham area are now between Birmingham and Anniston.

Be ready for frequent, dangerous lightning strikes, torrential rains and rapid flash flooding and the potential for damaging winds.
