Strong Storms Approaching Sumter County

A cluster of strong storms are entering Sumter County from eastern Mississippi. Portions of the complex are severe capable of producing large hail and damaging winds.

No warning for the county yet, but frequent lightning, hail gusty winds and torrential rain will be impacting the county over the next hour or so.

Areas from Geiger, Livingston, York and Cuba will be impacted as well as travel along Interstate 20/59, and Highways 11 and 80.
