Frost Advisory for Parts of Central Alabama

The NWS has issued a Frost Advisory for Barbour, Bibb, Blount, Bullock, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Etowah, Jefferson, Lee, Macon, Marion, Randolph, Russell, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston Counties for tonight and early Monday morning.

Temperatures are expected to fall into the middle 30s overnight across much of the area. With light winds, frost could be widespread.

Take last minute precautions to protect sensitive vegetation that might be killed by the cold.
