Warnings Issued Out of Memphis

The NWS in Memphis has issued severe thunderstorm warnings tonight for counties in northwestern Mississippi and southwestern Tennessee.

There have been some reports of pea sized and marble sized hail, which are not severe in and around the Memphis area.

The warning was just canceled.

Showers are increasing across Alabama tonight in advance of the main activity. There has been some lightning in Winston County and there will be some additional lightning and thunder overnight, but severe weather is not expected.
