Our strong cold front is approaching the northwestern corner of the state tonight.  Showers have entered Lauderdale and Colbert Counties at this hour.

The showers will continue southeastward overnight, mixing with and possibly changing to snow before dawn.

Temperatures will bottom out in the lower and middle 30s overnight and then will struggle to get out of the 30s on Wednesday.

There will be a few snow showers and snow flurries during the day.

At this time, it doesn’t appear that accumulations will be a problem tonight or tomorrow, although there could be a dusting on grassy areas.
