Storms Continue…

Here’s a look at the Alabama weather situation at 5 p.m…

No warnings in effect…

There has been some wind damage in Chelsea…including signs blown down. Power out to parts of Inverness. Tree on powerline on Caldwell Mill Rorad.

Intense storms in NE Jefferson County…0.51 inches of rain just south of downtown Trussville with more to come on radar…lots of sharp lightning also…affecting area from Kimberly/Morris down to Pinson, Trussville and into Moody.

Few heavy storms western Jefferson, northeastern Tuscaloosa into southern Walker.

Nice storm east of Clanton. Others from Rockford up to Talladega.

Line of storms along I-20 in East Alabama from Lincoln to Anniston and Oxford then to south of Heflin. Daniel in Oxfrod reported 1.33 inches in 40 mins.

The cold front is south of Muscle Shoals now. It will arrive in the Birmingham area around 8-9 p.m.
