…2 inches across much of Miller County AR (Texarkana) at 8:36 p.m.
…3 inches around Benton AR as of 8:40 p.m.
…1.5 inches around Ashdown AR.
…3 inches at Searcy AR.
…Changing to freezing rain in West Monroe LA (on I-20). Bridges and overpasses being treated.
…Bridges becoming slick around Greenville MS with 1/3 of an inch of snow accumulating.
…A little sleet mixed in with rain in Madison MS (north of Jackson).

Still no change in the forecast for Central Alabama. Northern areas will get light snow. There could be some slippery spots on roads, especially bridges and overpasses.

Further south, in the Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and Anniston areas, a wintry mix of rain changing to light sleet, freezing rain and snow will occur during the hours after midnight. With only light precipitation and marginal temperatures, significant problems are not expected. But there could be slick spots on bridges and overpasses. These conditions will extend as far south as a line from Demopolis to Clanton to Alex City.

Even further south, the precipitation should be all rain, perhaps with a little sleet.
