New Warnings and Advisories for Tonight and Wednesday

Here is the latest graphic on the new Winter Weather Alerts for another round of the wintry precip to impact the state tonight. The Winter Storm Warning has been extended south one row of counties and so as the Winter Weather Advisory. Additional accumulations of rain/freezing rain/sleet/snow/ice will occur tonight and Wednesday as a second wave of wintry precip will impact Alabama. Travel will be impacted, make no plans to be out on the roads later tonight and Wednesday. See post below for a detailed meteorological explanation of the forecast the next 24-36 hours.
