At 211 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms was spreading south across the area. Around an inch of rain has fallen in localized areas…and additional localized amounts of one to two inches is possible during the next hour as the storms move across the area.
At 152 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms moving across the area. Localized totals of one to two inches have fallen in the area…and another inch or so is possible during the next hour.
At 102 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms was spreading across the area. Rainfall of one to two inches has fallen in some locations…and additional localized amounts of one to two inches is possible during the next hour.
At 6:14 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area.
At 4:39 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking Strong Thunderstorms Along A Line Extending From 6 Miles Southeast Of Fyffe To Near Little River Canyon National Preserve To Near Little River Falls. Movement Was Southeast At 30 Mph. Winds In Excess Of 40 Mph Will Be Possible With These Storms.
At 4:31 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking Strong Thunderstorms Along A Line Extending From 11 Miles Southeast Of Ider To Near Powell. Movement Was South At 25 Mph. Winds In Excess Of 30 Mph Will Be Possible With These Storms.
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
Areal Flood Warning Expired For Parts Of Colbert, Cullman, Dekalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, Morgan, And Franklin (TN) Counties
At 1:14 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated a band of light to moderate rain that will persist across the warning area for much of the night and aggravate preexisting flooding conditions.
At 6:39 AM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Trenton to 7 miles northeast of Guntersville, moving east at 30 mph.
At 6:45 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Guntersville, moving east at 30 mph.
At 7:01 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause flooding.
At 6:01 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Arab, moving east at 50 mph.
