Look at the moisture gradient across Alabama ahead of and behind our cold front. The front is east of Birmingham now. The temperature at BHM dropped from 67F to 60F in one hour. The tornado warning for Coosa, Clay and Tallapoosa Counties has been canceled. The storm weakened as it passed between Kellyton and Alex City. The severe weather threat continues south of I-20 and east of a line from Talladega to Prattville.

Tornado warning continues for COosa, Tallpoosa and Elmore Counties. Possible tornado is cross US-231 south of Rockford on the Coosa/Elmore COunty line. Moving northeast is the general direction of Alex City and Jacksons Gap. Be in safe shelter if you are in the path of this storm.
