Early Afternoon Radar Check

| June 22, 2020 @ 1:09 pm

As expected, as we roll into the afternoon hours the radar is very active across portions of Alabama. While much of North/Central Alabama is rain-free at this time, we are tracking a cluster of rain and storms working through Central Alabama moving their way northward.

Within this cluster of storms, you can expect gusty winds, lots of lightning, and intense rainfall. This line of storms will continue to move into North/Central Alabama as we roll through the afternoon hours. Though no storms are currently severe, we cannot completely rule out a few severe thunderstorm warnings the rest of today as some of the stronger storms will be capable of producing hail and gusty winds.
