Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of Jackson and DeKalb Counties until 1245pm CDT

A severe thunderstorm was located over Hollywood, or near Scottsboro, moving east at 25 mph. 60 mph winds possible and quarter size hail. This is radar indicated.  Strong storm extended southwest of here from just south of New Hope to north of Arbam and near Cullman.  Heavy rain and frequent lightning with this entire line.

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central Jackson County in northeastern Alabama…
Central DeKalb County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 1245 PM CDT.

* At 1208 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hollywood,
or near Scottsboro, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Scottsboro, Henagar, Sylvania, Hollywood, Ider, Pisgah, Dutton,
Martintown, and Rosalie.
