Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Central Marshall County until 730pm CDT

Have been monitoring that line of storms in northeastern Alabama.  Damaging winds still the main threat.  Storms are backbuilding northwest and we have a new warning for Central Marshall County.  Storm is near Arab. Nickle size hail, frequent lightning and heavy rain all possible. With storm backbuilding, there could be areas of flooding forming. Be weather aware.

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Central Marshall County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 700 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Arab, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Albertville, Boaz, Guntersville, Arab, Union Grove, McVille, High
Point, Eddy, Hustleville, and Rabbit Town.
