Looks like Old Man Winter will be packing his bags and heading out of town as much milder weather moves in. While some rain could spoil some outdoor fun, we need every drop we can get to reduce our drought situation.
Winter weather advisories and winter storm warnings have been issued for our next weather system which will bring winter storm conditions to Alabama starting tonight through Tuesday.
VERY PLEASANT WINTER DAY: Temperatures are in the 60s across Alabama this afternoon with a partly to mostly sunny sky. Clouds will increase tonight ahead of an approaching storm system.
DRY TODAY: With a partly to mostly sunny sky, we project a high in the 60-65 degree range for much of Alabama this afternoon. A very pleasant winter day. Clouds will move in tonight ahead of a dynamic storm system.
SUNNY WINTER DAY: The sky is sunny across Alabama this afternoon with temperatures in the 40s over the northern half of the state, with 50s for the southern counties. Tonight will be clear with a low in the 30s for most places.
