Dry Pattern Continues; Warm Days, Pleasant Nights
CALM PATTERN CONTINUES: Most of Alabama will stay dry through Sunday with mostly sunny days and fair nights. Highs in the 80s, lows mostly in the 60s. We will mention a small risk of a shower Sunday afternoon over the western half of the state, but the chance of any one spot seeing rain is 10-20 percent.
Mostly Dry Conditions Continue Through Saturday
WARM AFTERNOON: Temperatures are in the 80s across most of Alabama this afternoon with generally dry conditions. We do note a few small, isolated showers over the southern quarter of the state, but those won’t last long. Tonight will be mostly fair with a low in the 60s.
A Few Sprinkles Over North Alabama Early This Morning
RADAR CHECK: An upper trough is producing a few patches of “illegal” light rain over North Alabama early this morning (rain that wasn’t forecast), otherwise the state is dry with temperatures mostly in the 60s. The sprinkles won’t last long, and most of the state will remain rain-free today with highs in the low to mid 80s along with a mix of sun and clouds. A few isolated showers can’t be ruled out over the southern counties today.
Quiet Weather Pattern Continues Through The Weekend
WARM AFTERNOON: Temperatures are generally in the low to mid 80s across Alabama this afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds. We note a few showers and storms along the Gulf Coast, but the rest of the state is dry. We note the average high for Birmingham on September 20 is 85. Tonight will be mostly fair with a low in the 60s.
Most Of Alabama Stays Dry Through The Weekend
DRY WEATHER CONTINUES: Alabama’s weather won’t change much through the weekend… we expect mostly sunny warm days and fair pleasant nights through the weekend with highs in the 80s and lows generally in the 60s. We will, however, mention the risk of a few isolated showers over Southeast Alabama tomorrow, and over Northwest Alabama Sunday ahead of a surface front.

SUNNY AFTERNOON: Temperatures are in the 80s across Alabama this afternoon with a good supply of sunshine. Nothing on radar, and tonight will be mostly clear with a pleasant low in the 55-65 degree range for most places.

SUNNY SEPTEMBER DAY: With a sunny sky, temperatures across Alabama range from the upper 70s over the northern counties to the upper 80s over the southern third of the state. Tonight will be clear and cool with a low in the 50s and 60s.
Dry September Weather Through The Weekend
A dry, continental airmass covers Alabama today, and the sky will be sunny with a high in the 80-85 degree range. The humidity will stay low, and tonight will be cool again with many places over the northern half of the state dropping back into the 50s.

RADAR CHECK: Showers continue to develop over Alabama this afternoon… showers are more numerous east of I-65. The sky is generally cloudy with temperatures in the 77-84 degree range.
Showers Possible Today/Tomorrow; Dry Next Week
OCCASIONAL SHOWERS: The sky will be mostly cloudy across Alabama through tomorrow with occasional showers thanks to a surface trough nearby. The higher coverage of rain will be over the eastern half of the state, and there could be a rumble of thunder in spots. The rain won’t be continuous, and it won’t rain everywhere, but if you have something planned outdoors just be ready for a shower at any time.
Showers Remain Possible Through Saturday
RADAR CHECK: We have widely scattered showers in progress across Alabama this afternoon with temperatures in the 77-84 degree range for most of the state. We do note Mobile and Dothan have reached the 90 degree mark. Isolated showers remain possible tonight, otherwise the sky will be mostly cloudy with a low between 65 and 72 degrees.
Scattered Showers Around Through Saturday
RADAR CHECK: A few scattered showers are moving into the western half of Alabama early this morning with temperatures at daybreak ranging from the low 60s over the Tennessee Valley to the mid 70s near the coast. Look for a mix of sun and clouds today with potential for a few scattered showers… highs will be in the mid 80s in most locations.
