At 4:01 PM CST, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm Near Sheffield, Moving Northeast At 60 Mph. Nickel Size Hail And Wind Gusts Of 50 To 55 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
The Tornado Warning continues until 4:00 pm on the severe thunderstorm that is about to move over Billingsley. Please take shelter if you are in the path of this cell. Damage has already been reported back in Perry County.

At 3:15 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Paul M Grist State Park, or near Valley Grande, moving east at 30 mph.

At 3:09 PM CST, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm Near Oxford, Moving East At 60 Mph. Half Inch Hail And Wind Gusts Up To 50 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.
Isolated severe threat has developed over central Alabama. Primary risks are damaging winds and perhaps a tornado.
A cell located just southeast of Marion in Perry County is showing strong signs of broad rotation as it moves to the northeast at 30-35 MPH.
At 2:44 PM CST, Doppler Radar Was Tracking Strong Thunderstorms Along A Line Extending From Near Talladega Superspeedway To Near Sycamore. Movement Was East At 35 Mph. Dime Size Hail And Wind Gusts Up To 50 Mph Will Be Possible With These Storms.
As of 1:30 pm, scattered batches of showers and thunderstorms are occurring mainly along and just south of the I-59 corridor across the area, with another batch of showers and storms just north of the I-20 corridor in the eastern parts of the area.
Widespread strong convection will persist across the FL Panhandle region this afternoon. Isolated damaging winds remain possible along with some tornado threat.
