We are seeing tons of sunshine today across Alabama. Highs this afternoon are in the upper 60s and lower 70s, and we continue to have a northwest wind of 10-20 mph with higher gusts. Tonight will be clear and chilly with lows in the lower 40s.
The sky is severe clear across Alabama with tons of sunshine and blue sky. It is cool with temperatures in the low to mid 60s, and these are below average for this time of year, as the average high today is 72°.
MARVELOUS MARCH AFTERNOON: After a chilly start, temperatures are close to 70 degrees across most of Alabama this afternoon with a good supply of sunshine. Tonight will be generally clear with a low in the 40s.
BLUE SKY: The sky is sunny across Alabama this afternoon, with temperatures ranging from the upper 50s over the northern half of the state to the low 60s over the southern counties. Tonight will be clear with a low generally in the 30s, but colder spots will see a light freeze.
DRY AIR: The sky has become sunny across all of Alabama this afternoon; temperatures are generally in the 50s, with low 60s near the Gulf Coast. Tonight will be clear and cold with a low in the 30s. Colder spots across North Alabama could see a freeze.
BLUE SKY: With a sunny sky temperatures are in the 50s over North Alabama this afternoon, with 60s over the southern counties of the state. Tonight will be clear and chilly with a freeze for many communities.
SEVERE CLEAR: We have a cloudless sky across Alabama this afternoon as dry air and subsidence takes over. Tonight will be clear and cold with a freeze for about the northern half of the state.
CLOUDLESS SKY: Not a cloud in the sky across Alabama this afternoon with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Tonight will be clear and cold, but not quite as cold as last night (a few spots were actually in the upper teens early this morning, including Gadsden at 19). Lows early tomorrow will be mostly in the 27-35 degree range.
BLUE SKY: We have sunshine in full force across Alabama today with temperatures mostly in the 70s at mid-afternoon. Tonight will be mostly fair with a low in the 44-52 degree range.
BLUE SKY: Most of Alabama is enjoying sunshine in full supply this afternoon with temperatures mostly in the 60s. The exception is the far northern part of the state… stubborn clouds are hanging tough around Huntsville and Athens at mid-afternoon. Those clouds will dissipate this evening, and tonight will be clear and cool with lows mostly in the 40s.
BLUE SKY: We are enjoying sunshine in full supply across Alabama this afternoon with low humidity along with temperatures in the 70s. Tonight will be clear with a low in the 45-55 degree range for most places.
SEVERE CLEAR: Another cloudless sky for Alabama today with temperatures mostly in the 70s; Mobile is the warm spot at mid-afternoon with 82. Tonight will be clear and cool again with a low in the 40s. This most likely will be the last time we visit the 40s until sometime in October, so cool weather fans, enjoy it.
CALM APRIL DAY: We have sunshine in full supply over the northern half of Alabama this afternoon with temperatures inn the 60s, about 10-15 degrees below average for late April. Some clouds linger over the southern counties of the state where a few sprinkles are still showing up on radar, but those will end this evening. Tonight will be mostly fair and very cool with a low in the 40s. Colder pockets over North Alabama could reach the upper 30s early tomorrow.
SUNNY, WARM APRIL AFTERNOON: The temperature is around 80 degrees across Alabama at mid-afternoon with sunshine in full supply. For some spots, this represents a 45 degree rise from lows in the mid 30s this morning. A big range like this means the air is very dry, and tonight will be clear with a low mostly in the 50s.
