Showers and storms are continuing to push east through North/Central Alabama late this morning and into the afternoon as a dynamic storm system passes well north of Alabama.
It remains a mostly cloudy day with some lingering showers over the northern half of the state. It is cooler and breezy with temperatures struggling to climb out of the 60s.
The new month starts off the way the last one ended, dry and very warm. Today we are seeing temperatures surge into the 80s for most locations despite more clouds than sun in the sky. Tonight will be mainly cloudy with lows in the mid to upper 60s.
