We are in the final hours of April, and the weather is very warm and pretty calm across Alabama. We are seeing a mix of sun and clouds, with only isolated afternoon/evening showers and storms.

At Alabama Power, lineworkers start their careers as apprentices where they learn the fundamentals of electricity as well as the skills needed to safely work on power lines.
WARM, MOSTLY DRY WEATHER CONTINUES: Alabama’s weather won’t change much today. Partly to mostly sunny with highs in the 80s this afternoon… showers will remain few and far between.
ANOTHER WARM DAY: Like yesterday, temperatures are mostly in the 80s across Alabama this afternoon with a good supply of sunshine; East Alabama is cooler with mid to upper 70s there. Showers are almost impossible to find… tonight will be mostly fair with a low in the 60s.

WARM SPRING DAY: Temperatures are mostly in the 80s across Alabama this afternoon with a good supply of sunshine. We note a few isolated showers and storms over far South Alabama… those will fade quickly after sunset.
More sun than clouds through midweek with only isolated showers and storms, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will be in the mid-80s which are several degrees above average for the end of April.

Alabama will stay warm and mostly dry through Wednesday with only a few isolated showers, but a stronger system will bring increasing chances of rain and thunderstorms by Thursday and Friday.
