At 311 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Tamola, or 8 miles north of Lauderdale, moving northeast at 45 mph.
At 307 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Marshall County, and also including portions of Madison, Jackson, Dekalb Counties in Alabama.
Heads up for Sumter County as a tornado warned storm is headed in your direction. Cities in the path include Livingston and Epps.
Update at 3:02: Confirmed tornado is passing just north of Alexandria in Calhooun Cunty. It is near Angel, approaching Alllsop and Roy Webb, and Asberry.
At 257 PM CDT, a tornado producing storm was located near Jacksonville State University, or near Jacksonville, moving northeast at 45 mph.
At 253 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles northwest of Belgreen, or 11 miles northeast of Red Bay, moving northeast at 35 mph.
Theree is significant tornado damage in northern Shelby County.
At 245 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across Northwestern Franklin, much of Central Colbert, and portions of South Central Lauderdale County.
At 244 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles southwest of Boley Springs, or 17 miles southeast of Fayette, moving northeast at 50 mph.
Tornado is now on the ground approaching Ohatchee in St. Clair County. This tornado will pass near Ohatchee and will pass between Jacksonville and Hokes Bluff!!
At 232 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
AT 227 PM CDT, A CONFIRMED TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR RAGLAND, OR 11 MILES NORTHEAST OF PELL CITY, MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH.
At 221 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across much of Cullman County and portions of Southern Morgan and Western Marshall Counties. These locations have already received upwards of 3 to 4 inches of rainfall earlier today, and experienced flash flooding along Interstate 65 and in many other locations this morning.
